About

I’m Asha Chong, a registered acupuncturist (Lic Ac, MBAcC) with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.

I work with people often at points of transition, pressure or a sense of imbalance - navigating stress, fatigue and emotional difficulty, alongside concerns relating to women’s health and fertility. These experiences may also present physically, as sleep disruption, digestive issues or headaches. Even where symptoms are shared, no two people feel them in the same way.

Each treatment is warm, attentive and unhurried, guided by a deep respect for the body’s energetic systems. The work balances understanding and change: recognising what your body is asking for and meeting it with greater care to support a steadier alignment.

My work has been featured in leading press publications and in 2026 I was awarded Best for Acupuncture at the Harper’s BAZAAR Wellbeing Awards. Alongside private practice, I hold residencies at Harrods and Six Senses London, as well as exclusive short-stay residencies in international wellness destinations, and participate in curated wellness retreats – spaces that share a conscious, community-centred approach to wellbeing. Editorial contributions include guest roles across both print and online wellness publications.

Before training as an acupuncturist, I studied French and German and worked in film and drama translation for production houses across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Years of personal experience with Five Element acupuncture led to a deeper curiosity about the medicine itself. Its longevity and continued relevance felt less like discovery and more like recognition - something once understood and gradually lost.

That recognition led to formal training in Chinese Medicine, marking the beginning of a practice rooted in attention, balance and lasting change - bringing this medicine into modern life in a way that feels grounded, relevant and quietly transformative.
